The Magic of Christmas
For us, the key to being a good magician is spontaneous interaction with the kids. While some magicians are all about practicing tricks in front of a mirror and showing off, all of our magicians are about getting the kids up and involved in the show. This is where the magic happens and we aren’t afraid to let the kids get the laughs.
Any time children enter into the show, no one knows exactly what is going to happen. It’s that mystery and excitement, that makes each show fresh and unique. Each child brings their own personality into the performance and our magicians adapt their routines to suit each child. Some kids can be cheeky, some shy. It really doesn’t matter, because either way, when our magician helps them to do a trick, they are the star of the show.
So, to make a good show, you have to have tricks that each age group can perform. This means silly and goofy tricks for the younger kids, funny tricks for the middle kids, and “wow” tricks for the older kids and adults. A Mom or Dad is usually brought up too and that’s something that gets everyone excited and into the show.
Magic offers a great opportunity to get all the kids at the party focused and entertained. This allows parents to take pictures, cheer along with the kids or sneak off for a coffee and a break.
So, when booking a magic act, you need to look for the following:
- A video of the magician performing a show
- Watch the magicians interaction with the kids. The magician should be engaged and relating to the kids.
- The magician show be doing something funny and entertaining in the video
- The magicians personality and or character should be obvious
We have several brilliant magicians to choose from and we need all of them for the Christmas party season. Each year we get flooded with requests to perform at parties, so please get in touch as early as you can to make sure you don’t miss out on the fun.
Have a look at our videos and pictures and let us know which magician you like best. Then sit back and enjoy the show.
